    Why use Kellogg's® Rice Krispies®?

As the first crisped rice cereal, Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® has been bringing families together in the kitchen for over 80 years.

To experience the timeless flavor, make your Rice Krispies Treats® squares with the original Rice Krispies® brand cereal.

    Where to buy

1. In large microwave-safe mixing bowl, microwave caramels, margarine and water at HIGH 3 minutes or until melted and smooth, stirring after each minute.

2. Add KELLOGG'S COCOA KRISPIES cereal and cashews. Stir until well coated. Add 1/2 cup white chocolate chips, stirring until combined.

3. Spread mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Let stand about 2 minutes. Sprinkle the remaining white chocolate chips over the mixture and press evenly into the pan. Cut into 2-inch squares when cool.

My best childhood memory is how my mom used Rice Krispies Treats as a way to bring any holiday or season to life. For Halloween, she made pumpkins by balling them up and using orange food coloring. For Christmas, she made wreath shapes with red and green M&Ms on top. For Easter, she'd put yellow, pink and green marshmallows inside her treats. But the best were her summertime treats. She'd pretend the tray of treats was a beach and create a scene with lifeguards, kids and sand buckets, using little figurines.
