Celebrate Independence Day by making these flag shapes with your kids. Decorate with red, white and blue. Then take a bite – they're tasty, too.
I have 16 month twin girls, and whenjust started to learn to pick up foods, I remember as a child they would stick to your tounge. I bought a box from the store. I put some on there tray and in no time the figured out that they could lick their fingers touch the Rice Krispies and they would kling to their fingers. They have loved them ever since. I wanted to share this photo of them recently with some Rice Krispies. I stepped away long enough to grab them some socks, and they decided to get some Rice Krispies out of the cabinet . See picture for rest of the story. I have more photos if you would love to see them.

1. My daughter had to do a report on flags of the world. So we used this recipe, decorated the treats to look like the flags she had researched and she passed them out to the kids in her class. Her teacher was very impressed -- she got an A+.
